This PC is super personal, as with this budget we will see what equipment I would assemble at this precise moment in history if I had a budget of 900 dollars, and I absolutely wanted a Ryzen PC to use it in all the necessary tasks for a content creator.
Yes, as you may know, I am a content creator who needs a powerful PC for video editing and rendering. Also, in my few moments of leisure, I would like to enjoy the Gaming section in 1440P resolution, the so-called 2K, all this having a team that can withstand many hours under stress.
What is the ideal equipment for me that could also be the ideal equipment for you? Well, stay until the end of this video as today we will get to know the components one by one and why.
1. Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700X
The AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700X processor is the direct sibling of the 5800X, but with some marked differences that make this processor more appealing to my criteria than its older sibling. It has the same number of cores and threads, so it will have very similar multitasking performance. The base frequency of 3.4 GHz is slightly lower than its older sibling’s which is 3.8 GHz, but this is not noticeable in practice as its turbo frequency is only 100 MHz lower than the 5800X, giving practically the same performance in practice.
But if the 5800X is superior, even if only slightly, why buy the 5700X? Because this processor has a TDP of 65W unlike its older sibling which has a TDP of 105W, making it much easier to cool than the 5800X. Being cooler over time will also be more stable and in my particular case having the same performance makes it a much more pleasant option for the future.
- Can deliver ultra-fast 100 plus FPS performance in the world's most popular games, discrete graphics card required
- 8 Cores and 16 processing threads, based on AMD "Zen 3" architecture
- 4.6 GHz Max Boost, unlocked for overclocking, 36 MB cache, DDR4-3200 support
- For the advanced Socket AM4 platform, can support PCIe 4.0 on X570 and B550 motherboards
- Cooler not included . Max. Operating Temperature (Tjmax) 90°C
Since we mentioned that this processor is easy to cool, and it does not have a stock cooler, let’s see which cooler we will choose for this case.
2. Cooler: ID-COOLING SE-226-XT
I know that many of you love liquid cooling, but unlike liquid cooling an air one will last you a lifetime, its maintenance does not require an additional expense and in some cases it is even more recommendable, such as in this case, since the ID-Cooling-SE-226-XT has 6 heat pipes and a PWM fan of 4724 that offers excellent heat distribution, being able to dissipate up to processors of 250W, being oversized for our processor and thus guaranteeing excellent temperatures and durability.
Now having the correct Processor and Cooler let’s see what would be the ideal Motherboard, this is ideal for me and maybe it can be ideal for you.
3. Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B550-PLUS WiFi II
Let me confess that I am a lover of ASUS’s TUF Gaming line, and this motherboard has captivated me enormously. Its design, durability and connectivity, and being ATX its expansion capacity. To all that we have to add that it has 10 power phases, Wi-Fi 6, Ethernet of 2.5 Gb, and that it comes configured and ready for processors from series 5000 makes me not think twice when choosing this motherboard for personal assembly.
- AMD AM4 Socket and PCIe 4.0: The perfect pairing for 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen CPUs.Bluetooth v5.2
- Robust Power Design: 8+2 DrMOS power stages with high-quality alloy chokes and durable capacitors to provide reliable power for the last AMD high-count-core CPUs
- Optimized Thermal Solution: Fanless VRM and PCH heatsink, multiple hybrid fan headers and fan speed management with Fan Xpert 4 or the UEFI Q-Fan Control utility
- High-performance Gaming Networking: WiFi 6 (802.11ax), 2.5 Gb LAN with ASUS LANGuard
- Best Gaming Connectivity: Supports HDMI 2.1 (4K@60HZ) and DisplayPort 1.2 output, featuring dual M.2 slots (NVMe SSD)—one with PCIe 4.0 x4 connectivity, front panel USB 3.2 Gen 1 connector, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C & Type-A ports and Thunderbolt 3 header, 1 x SPI TPM header
So far we would have the Processor and Motherboard but as our processor does not have integrated graphics it’s time to choose the perfect video card for this assembly.
4. Video Card: XFX Speedster SWFT309 Radeon RX 6700
The RX 6000 Series from AMD has dropped so much in price, that it’s impossible not to pay attention to this video card, given that everyone is looking for the latest generation RX 7600 card, for being good, current and economical, without realizing that the RX 6700, although it is from a previous generation is more powerful for being a higher range, and has 10 GB of VRAM, 2 GB more, a much better option since at this moment these 2 Cards are almost at the same cost.
- Chipset: AMD RX 6700
- Memory: 10GB GDDR6
- Cooling: XFX SWFT 309 Triple Fan
- Boost Clock: Up To 2425MHz
- English (Publication Language)
These components are the base of our assembly, the other components will be to maintain synergy
5. Ram: Kingston FURY Beast Kit RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) 3200 MHz DDR4 CL16
These Ram continue to be an excellent option for any assembly, especially for this one that is initially thought of in productivity, since they have a CAS latency of 16, thus being excellent Ram for Games and Applications, these memories have a speed of 3200 MHz with an RGB design that will give an additional touch of beauty that will perfectly match our TUF Gaming board.
- Stunning RGB lighting with aggressive style
- Patented Kingston FURY Infrared Sync Technology
- Intel XMP-ready
- Ready for AMD Ryzen
- Plug N Play functionality at 2666MT/s
- English (Publication Language)
For storage we will use a brand that has proven to be very good in terms of Quality-Price
6. Storage: Kingston NV2 1TB M.2 2280 NVMe
As our board hides the M.2 memory, we can initially put this Kingston memory on it, given that although it is not the best aesthetically, with it we have a PCIe 4.0 read speed of 3500 MB/s, and a total capacity of 1 TB, which will be more than enough for our system and games, being able to expand this section in the future with another larger M.2 PCIe 3.0, thanks to our Motherboard having a second slot with those capabilities.
- Ideal for laptops & small form factor PCs.Specific uses: Business,Gaming,Personal
- Gen 4x4 NVMe PCle 4.0 performance with speeds up to 3500MB/s Read
- Lower power requirements & minimal heat to help optimize system performance.
- Available in a range of capacities up to 4TB to meet your data storage requirements.
Now with this let’s see the last internal component we need for this assembly, which will be nothing more and nothing less than the Power Supply
7. Power Supply: Cooler Master semiifanless 650 W 80 PLUS
In this section we won’t rack our brains too much. We are looking for a quality power supply with enough power to feed our video card and configuration, and this semi-modular power supply from Cooler Master is excellent for this case, as it has an 80 Plus bronze certification, and its 650W are more than enough to power all our components. Even in the future you could change the video card to a more current one of the same range without problems.
- 650W semi-modular ATX power supply
- Semi-fanless up till 15% load
- 80 plus bronze certified
- Temperature controlled 120 millimeter fan with dustproof LDB bearing
- 5 years
- Dc-to-dc circuit design for stable voltage output
- Thicker 16AWG PCIe cables to support the latest graphics cards
