We are back again with a super personal budget, as we will see what team I would assemble at this precise moment in history if I had a budget of $1500 and wanted an AMD team from the Ryzen 7000 generation. Yes, this is precisely the team with which your server would constantly dream, a team much more than useful for a content creator.

Of course, being in this range, I would like to enjoy a team with which I can comfortably work in content creation, which is very powerful in rendering and in my leisure moments, be able to enjoy the gaming section in 1440P at high FPS rates, or have very good gameplay in 4k, of course having a team that can withstand many hours in constant stress.

So, what would be the perfect Ryzen 7000 team for me that if you have my same tastes could be ideal for you? Well, don’t miss any detail of this budget so you know why I chose each piece.

1. Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 7 7700X

This Ryzen 7 7700X is the successor to the Ryzen 7 5700X, which we already know is an excellent processor and in my particular case it catches my attention more than the Ryzen 7 5800X, but… What advantages does the Ryzen 7 7700X bring over its predecessors? Well, it surpasses both processors by 20-23% in its single-core performance, and an average of 28-30% in its multi-core performance.

Just imagine, the Ryzen 7 5700X and the 5800X, are already 2 processors with excellent performance, and this 7700X can get up to 30% more performance, it is an increase that in my particular case of having the budget is worth it to make the generational leap, that without taking into account that the Ryzen 7 7700X brings integrated graphics similar to a GT 1030, that is why this processor is the one I would personally choose from the Ryzen 7000 generation.

Offer

  • This dominant gaming processor can deliver fast 100+ FPS performance in the world's most popular games
  • 8 Cores and 16 processing threads, based on AMD "Zen 4" architecture
  • 5.4 GHz Max Boost, unlocked for overclocking, 80 MB cache, DDR5-5200 support
  • For the state-of-the-art Socket AM5 platform, can support PCIe 5.0 on select 600 Series motherboards
  • Cooler not included
  • Base Clock - 4.5GHz

Important Note: Although this budget is better in performance than that of the Ryzen 7 5700X and The Ryzen 7 5800X, it does not take away the fact that at the Quality-Price level these last two are still very viable, since they are two excellent teams that can be obtained with 26 or even 40% less than what it costs to mount this Ryzen 7 7700X, So whatever you choose, whether you are looking for higher performance or higher economy, all would be an excellent choice.

But as this processor does not have Stock Dissipation let’s see which Cooler I would put on this assembly.

2. Cooler: Noctua NH-D15S chromax.Black

Although our processor is a beauty in performance, it is not so much in temperatures since it has a TDP of 105W, which is not that it is something super exaggerated to cool, but it can become a problem if we think of putting this team in constant stress, since this family of processors tends to reach 95 degrees easily, that’s why it is recommended to put a liquid cooling on it.

However, in my particular case I like air coolings more because they last practically a lifetime, that’s why for this case we chose one of the best coolings that exist in the market, the Noctua NH-D15S chromax.Black, this heatsink has 6 copper heat pipes but in double tower, and is one of the best air coolers certified by most users, So this cooler along with slight undervolting from the same safe Ryzen tool, can give us the security of having a very powerful processor and with the appropriate temperatures, all that of course without spending practically anything on future maintenance.

Perfect, but, although our processor has integrated graphics, without a doubt a team like this sees its true potential with a video card.

3. Video Card: PowerColor Fighter AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT

I was initially very fascinated with the release of the Nvidia 4070 TI, an excellent video card without a doubt for both Gaming and productivity, more for Nvidia fans, but in the end my heart leans more towards the RX 7800 XT, for multiple reasons.

Read  The 5 Best-Selling Video Cards on Amazon You Need for Your PC (Third Quarter 2023)

The first and most important is of course the economic one, since the RX 7800 XT is on average 30-40% cheaper than the 4070 TI, and depending on the models this difference could exceed up to $250. Does this mean that it is a bad video card? Rather the opposite, because it is a card that even has 4 GB more VRAM.

Although the RX 7800 XT does not surpass the RTX 4070 TI, both in Gaming and in productivity, it does have a performance that is there nipping at its heels, and although this is more or less noticeable depending on the games and programs, when it comes to buying you just want what offers you more at the lowest possible price, if you of course have a limited budget, and precisely this PowerColor model has very good reviews from buyers and an excellent price, that’s why my heart tells me Buy the RX 7800 XT.

  • Memory Clock: 19.5 Gbps

Ready, now that we have the Ideal processor, the cooling and the video card that will define the power of our Assembly, let’s see which would be the board that I would choose to mount this team.

4. Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS WiFi

For those who have seen the budgets of the I5 12600K and Ryzen 7 5700X, you already know that at the level of motherboards, for me I would undoubtedly choose one from the TUF Gaming line from Asus, and for this Case it would be the ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS, mainly because it is ATX and I love having many possibilities of expansion and second because this board comes with all the toys.

Made with military-grade components, optimal cooling so that none of its components overheat, 14 power phases, PCIe 5.0 to put a better storage in the future, 2.5 Gb Ethernet, WiFi 6, a connectivity much more than complete, you can add up to 3 M.2 that, of course we have cooling, among many other little things that if you need are there, but above all look at it and tell me it’s not beautiful.

Offer
ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI AMD B650 AM5 Ryzen™ Desktop 9000 8000 and 7000 ATX motherboard, 14 power stages, PCIe® 5.0 M.2 , DDR5 memory, WiFi 6 and 2.5 Gb Ethernet, USB4® support Aura Sync

And with this board this budget is taking shape, let’s now go with the RAM memories.

5. Ram: CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM 32 GB

In this case, there are many good brands and models of DDR5 RAM, but for this particular build, I would like to combine it with these modules from CORSAIR. They operate at 6000 MT/s, are compatible with AMD EXPO, have a good latency of CL30, and above all, they have a good price-to-aesthetic ratio that would perfectly match the motherboard.

Offer

  • English (Publication Language)

At this moment, we would only need 2 components to complete this configuration. Let’s go with the Storage.

6. Storage: Western Digital SN580 SSD NVMe 1 TB WD

For storage, initially, I would settle for one that has a balance between speed and endurance, thus I would get something optimal without spending much. That’s why I would stay with the SN580 from Western Digital, which has an endurance of 600 TBW, and a read and write speed of 4150 MB/s, enough for games and programs. If later the M.2 PCIe 5.0 prices drop and I want to buy one, I wouldn’t lose this one either, because the board will allow me to connect up to 3 Units.

Offer
Western Digital 1TB WD Blue SN580 NVMe Internal Solid State Drive SSD - Gen4 x4 PCIe 16Gb/s, M.2 2280, Up to 4,150 MB/s - WDS100T3B0E
  • Boost productivity or design creatives effortlessly by upgrading to PCIe Gen 4.0 SSDs with up to 4,150 MB/s (2) read speeds (1TB and 2TB (1) models)
  • Make light work of heavy files with Western Digital’s nCache 4.0 technology enabling blistering fast copying of large files or media assets
  • With up to 2TB (1) of storage on a slim M.2 2280 form-factor, applications, data, and media such as photos, 4K videos, and music can be stored on the same drive
  • Keep creating uninterrupted when you’re in the zone or on the go with low-power storage to maximize your laptop’s battery life
  • NVMe delivers application responsiveness while multitasking between projects with large and complex workflows
  • Rated up to 900TBW (3) (2TB (1) model only) with Western Digital’s 5-year limited warranty (4) for peace of mind reliability
  • (1) 1GB = 1 billion bytes and 1TB = 1 trillion bytes. Actual user capacity may be less depending on operating environment.
  • (2) Based on read speed, unless otherwise stated. 1 MB/s = 1 million bytes per second. Based on internal testing; performance may vary depending upon host device, usage conditions, drive capacity, and other factors.
  • (3) TBW (terabytes written) values calculated using JEDEC client workload (JESD219) and vary by product capacity.
  • (4) 5 years or Max Endurance (TBW) limit, whichever occurs first.

Perfect, now we just need to see what is the appropriate power supply to power all these components.

7. Power Supply: XPG Core Reactor 80 Plus Gold 750W

This configuration has an estimated consumption between 528-550W so this Core Reactor of 750W will be more than enough for this configuration being at 70% of its use. But the main reason why I would choose this source is because it is one of the most economical with 80 Plus Gold certification.

XPG Core Reactor Modular PSU: 80 Plus Gold - ATX - Fully Modular Power Supply - 10 Year Warranty - 750 Watt
  • 80 Plus Gold Certified. High efficiency operation with low noise level.
  • 120MM FDB fan with intelligent fan control.
  • High-quality Industrial-grade Japanese capacitors for extra reliability
  • Fully modular cables for a simple and tidy build.
  • 10 Years Manufacturer warranty

And in this way, this configuration is complete with an average of $1400, leaving us a small margin to add a suitable case, which of course I will leave some recommendations. A very powerful team from the latest generation of Ryzen 7000, which without a doubt will be good for Gaming and excellent for working, the ideal team for me, that if you liked it could also be the ideal for you.
